  The Shores unit 315, is a pretty nice unit, and we enjoy our stay there for the most part. The good parts were, it was a good sized unit and the lanai is huge and provides a beautiful view. There is a lot of furniture out there as well to spread out. The kitchen is very well stocked with cooking and dining supplies, good stove, oven and microwave. Bathroom is large, the tub is nice. The bedroom has a huge closet with a lot of beach supplies. A lot of dresser storage as well. The bed itself wasn't the most comfortable for us. It has a foam topper on in it, but we just couldn't get comfortable. The edges of the bed sank down, the middle of the bed was a bit wavy. We frequently were turning in the middle of the night. Also, leather couches weren't really for us, stuck to them whenever we sat on them. The shower, while ample with power, the head is horrible. It doesn't adjust and sprays everywhere with tiny jets and is mounted about 6.5-7 feet high. Can't even lather up without all the soap being washed away. It's a good place overall, and we'd stay there again even with the items we didn't enjoy. That said, it's about 25 minutes north of the airport. If you plan on staying in Waikoloa or going to Waimea or Hilo, it's a good starting point. If you want to go to Kona or other locations further south, the drive does get a bit long.

  Driving down the road to the complex will tell you this is a safe area, well kept facilities. The condo building was clean, and directions were clear. The Suite was clean and just as the pictures showed. The kitchen has almost everything for cooking up meals, the private grill was great. The grounds were kept clean daily, and very quiet in the evenings to enjoy the lanai. Suite has a great layout, and Peggy was easy to work with and very helpful when we needed to get in contact with her. We really enjoyed the area, great for walking/running, close to beach access for the sunset, and lots of shops catered to the shopping tourist, restaurants and a "one stop" market for stocking the condo, or forgotten items from home to the mass produced gift items to take home. It's important to note about as of this trip that many of the shops and a few of the restaurants were still closed due to the COVID pandemic. This condo is perfect for a couple looking to have coffee and wake up slowly on the lanai, pack a cooler for the day and have a great place after a day of hitting the beach and exploring the sites to cook a full meal, and walk down the road to watch the sunset by the beach. We would definitely stay here again, and recommend. Our favorite places to eat and shop local: Foodland, KTA groceries, Kona Butcher Shop (pre order your seafood the day before), Sensei Sushi (in the complex area very close!) Waimea Coffee Mill (worth the morning drive for a local cup), Bamboo Restaurant in Hawi, The Black Rock in Pahoa, Kai Loki in Ocean view (best fish and chips), Hilo Burger Join in Hilo. Look and buy local!!

  This unit was set up just right for us. Beautifully appointed kitchen had everything we needed to cook. The wraparound lanai was very lovely & expanded the living space really well. The only friendly suggestion we have for the property owners would be to free up an additional closet for the beach toys. There wasn't room to store our luggage, so it cluttered up the otherwise nice bedroom. Property management was very responsive and super helpful navigating Covid Travel issues. Will certainly stay here again!

  First time stay in 315 for 12 nights and second stay at Shores. Will definitely return again. Enjoyed the kitchen island and how it opens to the living room. Spacious feel. Complete, with every imaginable cooking need. Grill right on the lanai is a plus. Peggy is an incredibly kind and helpful property manager to work with.   We have been five times in Vista or Shores and find Shores 315 the best choice. It is well equipped and cleen and you immediately feel at home. Peggy was very helpful ( like always). We had a wonderfull two weeks stay in this unit.

  My husband and I stayed at this property for 4 nights. It was very clean and had every amenity you could ask for. We thoroughly enjoyed the balcony and the bed was extremely comfortable. We found the bathroom quite warm.
  
  Peggy from Waikoloa Realty was a pleasure to work with. Her communication was excellent. We had an a/c issue, but she was on it and got it resolved quickly. You really didn't need the a/c at night with doors open to enjoy the breezes. The owner of this property is lucky to have Peggy managing it.
  
  The property itself is beautiful. The grounds were immaculate and the pool/hot tub well taken care of. Even though this condo only had a peak of the ocean, we could walk across the road to watch the sunset (even enjoyed the turtles resting on the rocks).
  
  The condo is close to shops and eateries. The Island Gourmet Market is amazing!
  
  We would definitely stay at this condo, again.

  Did a week long stay and this unit was perfect for us two. The grill on the lanai was super convenient and my husband couldn't stop raving about the kitchen layout! Kitchen was well stocked with essentials (cookware, spices...) to cook at home. There was also boogie boards, noodles, umbrella, and chairs for beach days, which is a must-have! The cable/smart TV plus reclining couch made for the ultimate relaxing week on the Big Island.

  Very happy with this condo. Had everything we needed. Beach chairs/umbrellas/towels/wave boards/ice chest. The condo was very pretty. It list being a smart TV/ but we couldn’t make that work- so we hooked up our laptop to the tv and it was perfect. The king bed is very firm. It was a very quiet location with a peekaboo ocean view. Loved that! Peggy was very helpful with our reservations and questions.

  Recently stayed 10 nites at the Shores 315. The condo was recently renovated and in excellent condition. The big well stocked kitchen was a joy to have.
  The large lanai was truly enjoyable with very comfortable furniture. It also had a gas grill which came in handy on several occasions
  The rental process was fast and easy and Peggy was very easy to work with. She always responded in a timely manner and was always very pleasant.
  In spite of a few minor issues, we would highly recommend this condo and property manager. We look forward to staying here again.
